Michael Jordan has been very charitable in the health care field. His latest contribution is a $10 million donation to help open two health clinics close to his hometown of Wilmington, North Carolina.
Jordan also donated $7 million to build two clinics in 2017. According to Novant Health, the donation will help provide “comprehensive primary care, including behavioral health and social support services, to the area’s most vulnerable communities.”
The clinics are scheduled to open in early 2022.
