LeVar Burton will finally get his chance to guest-host Jeopardy! this week. The former Reading Rainbow and Star Trek: The Next Generation star will host the show for five episodes starting on Monday.
Burton has become the internet’s favorite choice for the job – and got the chance to host after an online petition drew more than 250,000 signatures.
In an interview posted to the show’s YouTube page, Burton said “I’ve been a fan of Jeopardy for all of my life, and when this opportunity came by, I could not pass it up.”
Other celebrity guest hosts have included Aaron Rodgers, Mayim Bialik, Anderson Cooper, and Robin Roberts.
