The Port Orange South Daytona Chamber of Commerce swore in a new chairperson last week for their board of directors, the organization announced. Kelly Moore will be serving in the role for the year 2026. “This room is filled with people who care deeply about our community—people who show up, support one another, and make our Chamber feel like a family,” Moore said while giving her acceptance speech. “Seeing so many familiar faces, many of whom have been part of my journey here means more than I can express. Thank you for the heart you bring to this Chamber.” Moore works with Sunshine Payment Systems, a credit card processing company based out of Port Orange. Prior to becoming the Chamber’s chair-elect, she served in roles such as vice chair of the special projects committee and of the member services committee as well as treasurer. Moore is also a distinguished toastmaster who serves on the finance committee for her church. As she steps into her new role helming the board of directors, Moore takes over for Dan Morris. A representative of Honest-1 Auto, Morris passed the gavel to Moore last week for her swearing in. In addition to swearing in Moore, the Port Orange South Daytona Chamber of Commerce also doled out several awards. Those honors are as follows, per a chamber announcement.
