Comedian Bert Kreischer will be in Daytona Beach this February, ahead of the 68th running of the Daytona 500. The night before the big race, Kreischer is hosting the inaugural Full Throttle Festival at the Ocean Center Convention Center. The event is slated to take place starting Saturday, February 14th at 6:00 pm and running until 1:00 am the following morning. It’s being advertised as ‘the most epic NASCAR fan experience that Daytona has ever seen’. Joining Kreischer for the event will be a trio of country music stars: Lynyrd Skynyrd, Ernest, and Thomas Wesley (the country alter ego of dance producer Diplo). There will be a capacity of up to 15,000 people in attendance. The love story between Kreischer and Daytona Beach began in 2023, when the comedian brought his ‘Two Bears, One Cave’ podcast to Daytona International Speedway. Along with co-host Tom Segura, another popular comedian, the two recorded a live episode and spent the weekend taking in the race festivities with NASCAR fans. “Race weekend in Daytona is the Super Bowl of speed, and for me, that means going absolutely massive,” Kreischer said. “So, I figured, why not build the biggest, wildest, greatest pre-race party ever? We’re not just having a party; we’re bringing a rock show, a country show, a comedy show, and the kind of BBQ and beer that would make a pit crew chief proud. We’re stuffing all of that – the fun, the laughs, the meat sweats – inside the Ocean Center the night before the Daytona 500. It’s my ultimate dream NASCAR tailgate come to life, and I cannot wait to see Daytona go Full Throttle with us!” Tickets to the Full Throttle Festival start at $74,99, with VIP upgrades available starting at $249.99. Kreischer himself will be performing a comedy set, along with other comedians in his circle. Food will be prepared by a barbecue pitmaster, and there will be a ‘Great American Beer Hall’.
