The Macy’s Thanksgiving Day parade was a little different this year but did take one of The Rock’s memes to new heights. NBC took the meme of Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson rocking the purple turtleneck and a fanny pack and turned it into a huge float! The float promoted NBC’s new comedy series, Young Rock, coming this February. The show will follow Dwayne Johnson’s life as a kid, a teen and a college football player.
Johnson was impressed, tweeting ““Well I’ve been lucky enough to do some pretty cool s*** in my life… but after seeing my @NBCYoungRock FANNY PACK FLOAT in the #MacysThanksgivingParade this might take the cake. My plucked raised eyebrow is the stuff dreams (and nightmares) are made of.”
