To celebrate ten years since its debut, HBO thought it would be a treat for Game of Thrones fans to see a brand new trailer for the hit series’ eighth and final season.
The anniversary trailer, which is really just a review of the final season, left Game of Thrones fans commenting things like “It’s been years, and the wounds are still fresh,” “I was just fine forgetting this season existed,” and plenty of others complaints reminding HBO that it “destroyed” the entire show with its unsatisfactory ending.
There are also plenty of calls for HBO to refilm Game of Thrones’ final season, with the movement picking up steam ever since the company released the Justice League Snyder cut.
HBO may redeem itself; the company does have six prequel ideas based on the writings of Games of Thrones series novel writer, George R.R. Martin.
