The Volusia Sheriff’s Office has made three arrests in connection to a narcotics operation said to have been operated out of the parking lot of a bar in Deltona. A two-month investigation by the VSO has led to four suspects being identified in total, with one still at-large. They’re accused of playing a part in selling drugs outside Buzzards Roost Bar, located at 2748 Elkcam Blvd in Deltona. One Suspect Still At-Large The one suspect still at-large as of Wednesday is 57-year-old Veronica Jackson, a Deltona resident. Jackson has been charged with three counts of selling a Schedule II substance within a thousand feet of a park, two counts of selling cannabis within a thousand feet of a park, and two counts of unlawful usage of a two-way communication device. She has no prior arrest bookings in the Volusia County Branch Jail’s database. Those with information that may help lead to Jackson’s arrest are asked to contact the VSO’s non-emergency number at (386) 248-1777, or Crime Stoppers of Northeast Florida at 1-888-277-8477. Those who call in tips can remain anonymous and may be eligible for a cash reward. Three Suspects in Custody Three of the four suspects are accused of selling narcotics to undercover detectives, with a fourth working in the area selling at a different location from his vehicle at work. Arrests were made by the VSO, Deltona Narcotics Enforcement Team, and the West Volusia and East Volusia Narcotics Task Forces. The first arrest was 30-year-old Victor Rosario, who was charged with two counts each of selling cocaine within a thousand feet of a park and unlawful usage of a two-way communication device. A search warrant executed on Rosario’s home led to the seizure of $9,627, plus three bags of cocaine per the VSO’s report. His bond was set at $135,000. The second arrest was of 57-year-old Patrick Robinson, who’s said to have been selling cannabis. Undercover detectives did not make a successful purchase from Robinson, so they surveilled his home to gather evidence. He was stopped while driving and law enforcement seized 30 grams of cannabis, sandwich bags, a digital scale, a prescription bottle of muscle relaxers in another person’s name, and $1,034 in cash. He’s been charged with cannabis possession with the intent to sell, possession of a new legend drug, and possession of drug paraphernalia. His bond was set at $6,000. The third person arrested is 35-year-old Richard Torres. The VSO had the fewest details on Torres’ involvement, but did state that he was charged with the sale of cannabis and cocaine within a thousand feet of a park, and the sale of cocaine within a thousand feet of a child care facility. His bond was set at $75,000.
