Meet Bogie

2 years old. 314 days in the shelter.

And here’s the part that hurts…

In all that time, we can’t remember a single real meet & greet. Not one.

But let us tell you who Bogie really is…

Thanks to one of our amazing volunteers, Bogie gets little breaks from shelter life—and that’s where we’ve seen the real him:

He jumps right into bed and makes himself a cozy little nest (and will happily share it with cats… he just minds his business )

He LOVES toys (and yes… he’ll de-stuff them, but doesn’t eat them in a home!)

Totally fine with cats—he’ll lay right next to them, just not looking to start any drama

Seems to really like other dogs—tail wagging, ready to play, no aggression we’ve seen

Left alone for an hour? Didn’t move. Just curled up like a perfect gentleman

The “destructive shelter dog”?

Yeah… that’s just stress and anxiety talking.

Because in a home… Bogie is calm, cuddly, gentle, and SO ready to love someone.

Yes, he’ll need a little patience.
