Sable is – 3 year old Catahoula leopard dog. She came to us a stray, with three legs.

Sable is a such sweetheart. She may only have three legs, but she gets around amazingly. She may even break out in a run while she does prefers the leisurely stroll so she can sniff every inch of the way . She did not pull on the leash even when she saw other animals. She has a tendency to cross in front of your path so she could use some more leash work she’s has gotten better every day. She is housebroken, and when I busy working, she rang the bell hanging on my door to let me know she needed to go out. She know some commands (sit/stay/down).

She is definitely a people pleaser. She is a quick study to use stairs to get up on my bed. She is truly a cuddle bug and wants to be close and we’ll do anything for belly rubs and scratches. She is a little shy with men, but if they take the time to let her come around on her terms. She is perfectly fine. The only time she barked is when someone aggressively banged in my door. I think she would be amazing addition to someone’s family, all she wants is to love and be loved . I do not know how she is with other dogs or cats. She also does great going into her crate when I left the house. No issues at all.
